MOORFIELDS ADVISORY SECURE BUYER FOR LEADING CORPORATE AND FINANCIAL PRINTING COMPANY

Property specialists Milan Vuceljic and Arron Kendall are delighted to have secured the sale of 30 James Street Hotel in Liverpool, formerly part of the Signature Living Hotel Group.

30 James Street is situated in the heart of the city centre opposite the famous Albert Dock and Three Graces. The luxury historic hotel has 64 bedrooms, spa and rooftop champagne bar and is well known amongst tourists and business users. The hotel was part of the Signature Living Hotel Group which unfortunately suffered financial difficulties in June 2020, with its parent company also entering administration. The group saw a significant impact on trade as a result of the lockdown restrictions in COVID. 

Moorfields Advisory were appointed administrators of 30 James Street Limited on 25 June 2020. The administrators traded the hotel with the assistance of Legacy Hotels & Resorts and implemented changes to the legal structure of the real estate in order to preserve value whilst the business was marketed for sale.

The hotel has now been sold to RIMC Hotels and Resorts on the 4^th May 2023.
