Moorfields appointed Administrators over Commercial Property and Land Portfolio in North East England
Leading property insolvency and restructuring specialists Simon Thomas and Arron Kendall of Moorfields were appointed as joint administrators over a commercial property and land portfolio in North East England on 7 December 2016.
The portfolio consists of the following assets:
- Falcon Court business park, Stockton, comprising 33 self-contained commercial units, totalling almost 200,000 sq ft.
- West One/Forth Banks Tower, Newcastle providing c. 50,000 sq ft. of office space.
- Land at South Church Road, Bishop Auckland
- Land at Cheltenham Road, Stockton on Tees
Arron Kendall said “the joint administrators have taken control of the Company’s assets and have appointed Helix Property Advisors and Citivale limited as property and asset managers respectively whilst a strategy is formulated to dispose of the properties and land to maximize realisations for the creditors of Bowesfield Investments Limited”.
