Moorfields appointed administrators over CP100 formerly known as CopperEye Limited

Simon Thomas and Fred Satow of Moorfields Corporate Recovery were appointed joint administrators of CopperEye, an enterprise data management solutions business with offices in Bristol, UK and Boston, USA.

The company offers a data management solution that provides SQL query access to the log files of busienss transaction data stored in flat files; the company also offers a search solution that enabled business users to find and retrieve specific transactions; all comprising secure data retrieval.

The company has customers located across the globe with turnover of £1.4m in 2010 and over 100 filed patents.

Moorfields were instructed by the directors to find a purchaser for the business and secure a sale within a limited time frame of three weeks. A marketing campaign was undertaken identifying a number of prospective purchasers, following final bids, a pre pack administration sale completed in April 2011, securing jobs and ongoing services for customers.
