Moorfields appointed Administrators over Grade II listed Manor House

Nicholas O’Reilly and Simon Thomas of leading restructuring and insolvency firm, Moorfields Corporate Recovery LLP, were appointed Joint Administrators of Rowfant House Limited on 12 March 2014.

The West Sussex Manor House is set in 22 acres of gardens and is regularly used as a venue for weddings, conferences and meetings. Additionally the house has a residential care home accommodating up to 19 residents.

Insolvency specialists Moorfields Corporate Recovery will continue to manage the sites whilst a buyer is sought.

Nick O’Reilly, Joint Administrator said “It is a shame to see a local historical building such as Rowfant House fall into Administration. The House provides a great opportunity for development and expansion on the site to provide a charitable and community asset. We will explore development opportunities and In the meantime we hope to continue to manage the house. The care of the residents and those who have made function bookings are our priority, so we will take steps to ensure quality and standards remain the same.”
