MOORFIELDS APPOINTED OVER LONDON RESTAURANT
Moorfields Advisory have been appointed administrators over London barbeque restaurant Pitt Cue.
Pitt Cue was a popular independent London restaurant located in Devonshire Square, nr Liverpool Street, which specialised in BBQ food with an elegant twist. Unfortunately, after 8 years the restaurant suffered a downturn in trade along with many other restaurants in the capital.
Moorfields are now looking to sell the restaurants assets.
Simon Thomas, Moorfields Advisory Partner said, “Unfortunately the restaurant market is battling a number of issues including high rents, business rates, a declining high street together with and an increase in minimum wage. Pitt Cue had proved to be successful in its previous Soho location so relocating to a larger space appeared the right thing to do. It is unfortunate that the restaurant then struggled to continue its success”.
