Moorfields appointed over specialist work boat builders

Simon Thomas and Nick O’Reilly, Partners of Moorfields Advisory, were appointed Joint Administrators of Meercat Workboats Limited on 3 November 2017.

Meercat Workboats was incorporated in 2008 originally trading from Trafalgar Wharf in Porchester but following its success in 2015 it was acquired by another company and later moved to a purpose built premise in Hythe, Southampton. The Company specialised in building work boats to provide companies with an effective solution to the problem of fast access and mobilisation to different locations.

All employees were made redundant prior to appointment.
