Moorfields appointment Liquidators over a Music Retailer in West Sussex

Simon Thomas and Arron Kendall of leading restructuring and insolvency firm, Moorfields Corporate Recovery Ltd, were appointed Joint Liquidators over Beyond The Sea Limited on 5 March 2015.

The company incorporated in 1999 operating as an online music retailer and record label in West Sussex, holding the distribution rights to a number of well known artists.  Following a legal dispute with a fellow record label regarding the re-nowned American guitarist and vocalist, Eva Cassidy, the business was wound-up by the Court following a petition.

The business owns a country estate in West Sussex and considerable music stock and merchandise, which the Liquidators will be seeking to realise for the benefit of creditors.
