Moorfields complete sale of Somerset Gun Shop

Moorfields are pleased to announce that they have successfully sold the business and assets of West Country Guns.

West Country Guns was a trading division of Mike Stacey Limited which went into Administration on 23^rd April 2014. The independent advisers and retailers for new and used guns, operated from Wiveliscombe in Somerset.

Joint Administrators, Nick O’Reilly and Simon Thomas continued to trade the gun shop whilst a marketing campaign was undertaken. A sale was completed on Friday 9^th May to Shaun Stacey who will now trade under the name West Country Guns Limited.

Joint administrator, Nick O’Reilly commented “We are pleased that a substantial sum has been recovered for creditors from our decision to market the business as a going concern. We are grateful to all the parties that submitted offers and wish the new company success in their ongoing trading”
