MOORFIELDS COMPLETE SALE OF VICTORIA SHOPPING CENTRE

Property specialists Moorfields Advisory have completed the sale of the Victoria Shopping centre.

The Victoria shopping centre located in Southend on Sea, comprises of 274,061 sq ft of retail units and is prominently located at the North end of the High Street, next to Southend’s main station. Moorfields were appointed receivers over the centre in May 2020 following a decline in Retail due to Covid-19 and has continued to trade the centre throughout the pandemic.

The centre has been purchased by Southend-on Sea Borough Council demonstrating the council’s long term commitment to the town centre.
