Moorfields rescues specialist I.T. Recruitment Firm

Simon Thomas and Nick O’Reilly of leading restructuring and insolvency firm, Moorfields were appointed Joint Administrators over Ashton Consulting (UK) Limited on 17 December 2015.

Ashton Consulting is an independent I.T. recruitment company that specialises in recruitment solutions Nationwide. Based in Bristol the company has been trading for 12 years but suffered difficulty as a result of cash flow issues.

Moorfields Corporate Recovery successfully sold the business on 23December 2015 ensuring the company can continue to trade and saving the jobs of 10 employees.

Nick O’Reilly, Joint Administrator at Moorfields, said “We undertook an accelerated marketing process and received interest from a number of parties. The offer accepted represented the best value for creditors, staff and customers”
